Point Buy
With point buy, you have 27 points to spend on your stats, with each stat starting at 8. Each increase in a stat costs a certain number of points, and the cost increases as the stat gets higher.
The standard array is a pre-generated set of stats that players can choose to use instead of rolling for stats. The standard array is 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, and 8. Players can assign these values to their stats as they see fit.
The chosen stats for your character will be based on your 1st level class.
